The Winsome Wanderer is designed to be a helpful source to families on the topics of marriage, parenting, and the organization, cleaning and design of the home. These subjects are near and dear to the Wanderers’ hearts and yet the wider world lives and breathes a host of wonderful subjects.

Our intent is to cast the net a little further from our own shores and catch some rich details about topics that you may enjoy and from which we can gain a new perspective.  It is our privilege to host fellow wanderers and our joy to share them with you.

Our first guest is a man for whom the famous quote “not all who wander are lost” was truly written. Living his life as an emergency trauma nurse for almost forty years, Nat Flowers nonetheless found his cabin in the woods off the beaten path because he loved to be there. The mélange of the sixties left him marked as his taste and appreciation for varieties of music and art will attest. There are very few subjects that do not pique his interest, however, as he is an avid reader. If you come around looking for him, you may as well check behind his computer desk or in his kitchen or garden. Now retired, he enjoys sharing his wealth of experience and knowledge with those lucky enough to volunteer alongside him in several of our nation’s conservation gems.
